Installation
a) Placement space
The support channel should be opened carefully; hard parts such as stones, large inerts, etc. should be avoided. The pipes must be placed at the bottom of the channel on a layer of fine sandy material with a minimum height of 15 cm so that the walls of the pipes are not in contact with hard materials.
It is recommended that the channels are not too wide; maximum up to 1.5 times the pipe diameter. The strength of the rings allows the pipes to be installed even in
areas with heavy traffic.
b) Initial filling phase
It is recommended that the first stage of filling be done manually with fine sand material. The filling material in direct contact with the pipe must reach up to 30 cm starting from the highest part of the pipe and must
be well compacted and compact from 90 – 95% according to the PROCTOR indicator. After that, fine gravel around 70-80 cm is used. After it is covered with fine material for 1 meter, the canal is filled with the excavated material of the canal itself, eliminating organic ecological waste, etc. It is recommended not to use clay and limestone materials
